Master El Morya is the great spiritual hierarch of the Brotherhood of the Diamond Heart. His activity of service and life is to guard and protect the spiritual focuses created as heart centers of world movements and religions, protecting whatever specific God ideas will benefit the human race and hasten its evolution. In addition, he is the chief of the Darjeeling Council of the Great White Brotherhood in India, Chohan of the First Ray and hierarch of the etheric Temple of Good Will. El Morya represents the divine attributes of the First Ray which are courage, faith, initiative, dependability, divine power, self-reliance and certainty.

The ascended lady master Nada is the chohan of the sixth ray (purple and gold ray) of peace, ministration and service. She is also a member of the Karmic Board, on which she serves as the representative of the third ray (pink ray) of divine love. From Nada we learn the practical application of love and the path of personal Christhood through ministration and service to life.

On Atlantis, Nada worked in the healing arts and served as a priestess in the Temple of Love. The etheric counterpart of this temple, which is designed after the pattern of a rose, is centered above New Bedford, Massachusetts. She was also embodied as a lawyer on Atlantis, where she championed the cause of divine justice for the downtrodden and oppressed.

Nada speaks of her experience in keeping the flame in the last days of Atlantis: “How well I remember the last days of Atlantis. Those of us who were there keeping the vigil midst the effort of the embodied lightbearers have recently gathered at the Royal Teton Retreat to closely examine the causes and conditions that led to that final judgment and that sinking of a continent and its people.

“The evildoers then and now continue in their evildoing right up to the eve of cataclysm, boasting that they are immune to God’s laws, that karma is not real, and that they are the gods of the earth….

“My service on Atlantis was in law and the law of wholeness. Thus the science of healing and the science of truth are the right and left hand of the defense of the individual, body and soul. In those days the manipulators of the law of the fifth ray were as devious in their despisings of the sons of light as they are today. They entered not into the consciousness of God, and they exerted a destructive influence upon those who were entering in as neophytes under the initiates of the mystery schools.

In her final incarnation 2,700 years ago, Nada was the youngest of a large family of exceptionally gifted children. She was tutored by Charity, archeia of the third ray, in how to expand the threefold flame of love in her heart for the quickening of the chakras of her talented brothers and sisters. She chose to forgo pursuing her own career in that embodiment and, instead, kept the flame in deep meditation and prayer for her brothers and sisters in their various fields of endeavor.

Jesus of Nazareth was and is the living Christ because he was the fullness of the incarnation of the Word. In him the threefold flame of power, wisdom and love, the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, was God, a consuming sacred fire—three persons in one, a light to lighten all peoples. In the average man and woman the threefold flame is one-sixteenth of an inch in height, reduced by the edict of the LORD God made at the time of Noah. Jesus Christ, the wayshower, teaches us how to expand the threefold flame within the secret chamber of the heart that we might follow his example and become the living incarnation of the Word. He shows us how to balance the energies of love, wisdom and power until we are enveloped by this threefold action of the sacred fire and we become the living witness of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To become the flame of God is the goal of life. Jesus, the Saviour of mankind, is here today to teach us the way, to teach us that the I AM THAT I AM is the way, the truth and the life.

Serapis Bey is the chohan of the fourth ray, hierarch of the Ascension Temple at Luxor, and the thirteenth member of the Council of Adepts of the Ascension Temple. He is also known as Serapis Soleil, Serapis of the Sun.

The fourth ray is the ascension flame, the white light of the Mother in the base-of-the-spine chakra. Out of this white light comes architecture, the principles of mathematics, the foundations of the building of the Matter temple and the pyramid of Self. In the presence of Serapis, one knows an entirely different conception of what we call the Christ, the real person of us all.

Known as the Great Disciplinarian, Serapis came from Venus with the Ancient of Days to rekindle the sacred fire in the hearts of a wayward mankind. His great enthusiasm to reclaim the sons of man as kings and priests unto God swelled and mounted into a flame of iron will, determination and discipline.

He was a priest in the Ascension Temple on Atlantis. As guardian of the ascension flame, he carried the flame safely up the Nile River to Luxor just before Atlantis sank. Serapis gives us a glimpse of this experience in his own words:

Paul the Venetian is chohan of the third ray of divine love. He is hierarch of the Château de Liberté, his retreat on the etheric plane over southern France on the Rhône River. Paul sponsors the ascended master culture for this age and works with all who desire to bring that culture forth on behalf of mankind. The culture of the ascended masters is the keystone in the pyramid of the golden age; for they have said that it is through culture that mankind will respond to spiritual truths and the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood. The Ascended Master Paul the Venetian, by his twin flame, Ruth Hawkins

In the days of Atlantis, Paul served in the government as the head of cultural affairs. Before the continent sank, he established a focus of the liberty flame in Peru, which gave impetus to the culture, beauty and wealth of the Incan civilization. He embodied in the Incan empire as an artist who used paints that did not fade (a mastery that he brought back in his final embodiment). Thanks to the tremendous momentum that he drew forth, the Inca civilization flourished.

Later, he was embodied in Egypt as a master of esoteric architecture and worked closely with El Morya, then a master mason, at the time of the building of the pyramids. His final embodiment was as Paolo Veronese, one of the major artists of the 16th-century Venetian school. Born Paolo Cagliari in Verona, Italy, in 1528, the artist’s early training gained him renown at a young age as a talented painter.

Saint Germain is the chohan of the seventh ray. Together with his twin flame, the ascended lady master Portia, the Goddess of Justice, he is the hierarch of the Aquarian age. He is the great sponsor of freedom’s flame, while Portia is the sponsor of the flame of justice.

Each two-thousand-year cycle comes under one of the seven rays. Jesus, as chohan of the sixth ray, held the office of hierarch of the age during the last 2000 years. On May 1, 1954,

Saint Germain and Portia were crowned as directors for the coming cycle of the seventh ray. Freedom and justice are the yin and yang of the seventh ray of Aquarius, and together with mercy, they provide the foundation for all other attributes of God to be outpictured in this seventh dispensation.

Germain and Portia deliver to the people of God the dispensation for the seventh age and the seventh ray—the violet ray of freedom, justice, mercy, alchemy and sacred ritual—a new lifewave, a new civilization, a new energy.

As chohan, or lord, of the seventh ray, Saint Germain initiates our souls in the science and ritual of transmutation through the violet flame. He is the seventh angel prophesied in Revelation 10:7 who comes to sponsor the finishing of the mystery of God “as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

Having studied under Lord Himalaya and gained his mastery in the Retreat of the Blue Lotus, Lord Lanto elected to use the yellow plume to enfold the hearts of all mankind. He is dedicated to the perfectionment of the evolutions of this planet through Cosmic Christ illumination. The golden flame that he bears is charged with the momentum of God-victory for the youth of the world.

Lanto volunteered with Sanat Kumara, the Ancient of Days, to come to earth long ago for the rescue of the planet and her evolutions. He was a High Priest in the temple of the Divine Mother on the continent that sank beneath the Pacific, known as Lemuria. He had other incarnations on Atlantis, as did all of the chohans of the rays.

In the last days of Lemuria, those who tended the flames upon the altars of the temples were warned of the coming cataclysm. They removed their flames, carried them to places of safety, and deposited those flames in other physical retreats or removed them to the etheric octave. It was Lord Lanto who carried the flame of precipitation and deposited it in the area of the Grand Teton mountains in North America.

HILARION, Chohan of the Fifth Ray Hilarion is the chohan of the fifth ray of healing and truth. He is the hierarch of the Temple of Truth on the etheric plane near Crete, Greece.

Hilarion was high priest of the Temple of Truth on Atlantis, and he transported the flame of Truth together with the artifacts of the Temple to Greece a short time before the sinking of the continent. The focus of Truth that he established became the focal point for the Oracles of Delphi, messengers of Truth who served under the direction of Pallas Athena for hundreds of years, until black priests penetrated the Delphic Order and perverted the Truth that had been brought forth. The Brotherhood then withdrew this service to embodied mankind, since people were unable to distinguish between Truth and error.

Hilarion was later embodied as Saul of Tarsus, who became the apostle Paul. Hilarion has recalled for us his encounter with the Christ in that embodiment: “Jesus the Christ we called him, and we were called of him as you are called this day. I recall the memories of his coming to me, empowering me with his Word. Yet first he humbled me on that road to Damascus, the humbling I sorely needed that I might bow to my own Christ flame that he revealed to me, as he also gave to me the key of meditation upon that flame that I might walk in his footsteps on the fifth ray of science and healing and apostleship and the preaching of the Word.
